To make this work, you would potentially have to shunt outstanding requests into a datastore outside of the core LMS, then have a continuous job that monitors that store, and passes requests to the LMS request service. <br /><br />Programatically, its a nice challenge. In practice, splicing it onto an existing and bulky LMS such as Voyager would be a significant source of pain, and liabel to trip up any support agreements with the supplier, whatever value they may hold.<br /><br />The new Cambridge public library has bookable workstations and media centres however.
